Brian Bahe is a Native American (Tohono O’odham, Hopi, Navajo), gay (top, bottom, vers) standup comedian and writer originally from Phoenix, Arizona, now based in New York City. His jokes touch on his cultural experiences growing up Catholic and indigenous in Arizona, and his present day navigation of New York City, all of which is told by the guy who if you saw him at a party you would think, “he’s what the French call les anxious.”
He cohosts the standup show Butt Dream on the first Saturday of the month at The Rack Shack. It’s New York City’s only comedy show in a lingerie store and has been featured in Time Out New York. He also cohosts the standup show Star Fuckers: Astrology but Make It Comedy at Union Hall the third Monday of every month. He’s performed in festivals across the country including: San Francisco Sketchfest; (somehow) the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston, MA; Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin, TX; and many others. He’s performed at clubs and theaters across the country such as Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre NYC, Punch Line Philly, Punch Line SF, and Good Good Comedy Theater (Philadelphia, PA). He graduated from Arizona State University with degrees in English and Psychology (mostly including this so people know ASU is ok sometimes).
